Her eyes were sure to pop out of her head, and the heat rising to her face was causing her to turn more pink than she'd ever been. She attempted to cover her face more and more with every word that Blake spoke, but it was too late, they'd all caught a glimpse of her. Riley grabbed Blake by the arm and began jerking him toward the school building. "What the heck is wrong with you?!" She shouted under her breath. "You could have gathered that I don't like people!" Riley huffed, pushing open one of the double doors. "Are you still trying to get in my pants, or something?"

By the time her face turned hot pink, he was laughing. It faded out a bit when he realized how strong she was. This tiny little girl was actually dragging him. He darted in the door quickly to avoid being smacked in the face, and tilted his head to her voice. "Riley, if I wanted in your pants, they'd be at your ankles by now." He brushed a piece of his hair away from his eyes. "Maybe I really do just want a friend. None of the guys like me because I bang their girls. None of the girls like me because I bang their friends. You and I don't have that conflict. You're fiesty. Be my friend?"

Without even realzing it, Riley's hand shot to the top of her pants, where she held them closely. No way he'd get her pants around her ankles. "Has it ever occured to you that maybe I just don't want a man-whore as a friend? You know what you do defines who you are, and you're totally aware that you're out there breaking hearts and making your downstairs very unattractive.." She scrunched her face up in disgust. "Maybe I just don't want people to think that I'm like you. I'm sure that you are a good, fun person to be around. But honestly, I'd be afraid to use a toilet after you."

Blake chuckled as her hand shot to her pants. As if he would actually rip them off right there.. Well, he would, if she'd let him. He grabbed her hand and pulled it to his chest, right above his heart. "You feel that, Riley? I'm as much of a human being as you are, and words hurt. You think it's safe to use the girls bathroom? I don't do those things by myself," he growled. "What are you, a virgin?"

Her face began to flush. Was she a virgin? A nervous laugh came through her throat. "It's nothing to be ashamed of. I'd rather be a virgin than a whore anyday." Why was it making her so nervous? She'd never felt bad about who she was before. She let a small groan escape her mouth, and made a run for it.

"Riley, wait!" He tried to catch her, but she was just too fast. He followed her all the way to the bathroom, tapping lightly on the door. "Riley? Look, it was just a joke. I don't care that you're a virgin. Who am I to judge? It's something to be proud of, really." He suddenly felt really bad about himself. Not just because he hurt her feelings, or whatever it was he'd done, but because she really was innocent. And he... He was the complete opposite. He felt bad about himself.

"I'm not ashamed, I just-" She stopped long enough to check to see if the stalls were empty. When the coast was clear, she dragged herself to the door and clicked the lock. "I am proud of myself, make no doubt about that.. But I'm almost a Senior. Shouldn't I have found someone to swoon me? I guess I really am just as awful as you said. No one wants someone like me."

Blake tightly squeezed his eyes shut when he heard the door lock. Man, was he a dick. He put his hand to the door, hoping that by chance, she would feel how sincere he was being and open the door. "Riley, dollface, if you were really that awful, would I still be standing here looking like a dumbass outside of the girls bathroom just to get you to talk to me?" he paused to see if she would reply, when nothing came, he continued. "Look, babe, I'm not proud of what I've done. In some way, you and I are the same. I do what I do because I'm trying to fill some kind of void, but all those girls, there's never any real feelings involved. I mean, they're lucky if I still want to be their friend afterward." Feeling even worse, he slid down the door. "So while I'm trying to catch that feeling, you've been running from it. You've been keeping yourself distant from everyone, and I'm sure there's a good reason behind it. But I'm not judging you. Really, I respect you so much more than I have ever respect anyone else. Now will you please open the door?" He lowered his voice. "Riley, please?"

Riley was starting to feel worse over the fact that she had freaked out than she did over anything else. Blake sounded sincere, but Riley wasn't fooled just yet. She heard the light tap of his body hit the door, and the awkward sound of him sliding down the door. She inhaled deeply.
"At least those people want you, Blake.." She trailed off, shaking her head. "You have something that I don't have- Appeal. I've never even been kissed..."
As soon as those words left her mouth, she felt trust towards Blake. It was a feeling she wasn't used to, and with her hands shaking, she unlocked and opened the door.
"I'm sorry."

The click of the door was enough to make Blake stand up. He never thought she'd cave that easily.. But he also never thought he'd question himself in such a way. Riley's face was still pink, her eyes were dark, and he'd never seen a girl look so down.
"Hey, don't apologize," he pulled her in tightly. He laid his head on hers, hugging her closely. "You have nothing to be sorry for. But you really shouldn't doubt yourself the way that you do. You're a gorgeous girl, and you run real deep, Riley. And that's alone is worth something."

She leaned into his chest, relaxing in his hug. The sound of his heartbeat was like music to her. "Thanks, Blake." With a huff, she pulled away from him. "I suppose I owe you an apology, too. I didn't really mean all those things I said. I have a habit of turning into super bitch when I feel offended...."
Riley walked over to the sink, turning the water on, letting it run cold. She splashed some on her face, patted it dry, and cut the water off. Staring at Blake through the mirror, she smiled. "We can try something new, the two of us. We can try to be different."

"You were right about everything he said," shrugging into her body. "If I got offended by everyone who called me a name, I'd have to leave town."
Blake watched her intently as the water splashed her face. He knew she was pretty, but as the make-up washed away, he could see just how much of a natural beauty she was. "I think we should do that. I'lls top sleeping around, and you start being more open. Maybe not to everyone, but at least to me," he gave her the best boyish grin he could manage. "I think this is the start of a wonderful friendship, my dear!"

"Maybe so," she gave a sleepish grin. "I have to go, Blake, I'm going to be late for class. But, if you want," she intwined her fingers, chewing on her lower lip. "You can come by my house later.. My 'rents are out of town, got the place to myself..."

His brows furrowed as she spoke. He never expected her to invite him over, at least not this early in their friendship. But a smile quickly replaced his confusion and he nodded. "Yeah, that'd be nice." That'd be nice? Idiot. He shook his head to clear his thoughts. "Where do you live?"

"Uhm, it's kind of lame," she laughed nervously, shaking her head. "Don't judge me on this, but I actually live in Hillside Trailer park." She was certainly ashamed of where she was from, not because she lived in a trailer, but because she was the typic teen you'd expect from a place like that. She snuck out, she stole her mom's booze, and she used the backyard as a place to sneak and smoke her Marlboro cigarettes.
"Well, not really in it. When you get to the park, take the only driveway that goes right. You can't miss my place, it'll be the only house you see," she gave a soft smile, her face turning a shade of pink. She was about to tell him he dind't have to come, that she knew the repuatoin her 'humble home' had, and she'd understand. But before the words could come out, the bell rang, and she had to run to class. She'd already skipped twice this week and truency wasn't on her list of things to do... Yet. "See you tonight. If you don't show I'll understand." Her lips lightly grazed his cheek just before she disappeared through the door.
